Budget Homestay with Nice Host
Booked this place as we signed up for the Kapas Marang Swim and the hotels near the jetty were fully booked. Marang is a small town so there wasn’;t many places you could book online and I found this homestay on Agoda. It’s location is in between the jetty and the event endpoint (Kelulut Beach) but it’s advisable to have a car and not rely purely on Grab as it may not be easy to get 1 here. The homestay itself is pretty basic but kept clean with aircon in the 2 bedrooms, fridge, towels as well as a water dispenser so we had everything needed for a short stay. It is behind a pharmacy but the homestay and pharmacy can’t be found in the Grab app so have to specify the chalet (Impiana Marang Chalet) next door as the landmark. The host is very flexible. Our overnight bus arrived very early at 6am and he/she told us it’s fine to check-in as the homestay is already ready. We were also allowed to check out late as the event finished close to noon so we had enough time to come back and wash up before leaving.
Short stay
Thanks to the host sebab entertain our request to check-in early. Overall, good service and clean. Recommended for stay in group and travel with car.
Trip to Redang Island
Overnight one day here. If you look from the outside the homestay is look old but once you enter inside the hse,you can see the hse owner is very well maintain her homestay. Both room with air-conditioner. House facilities are complete for those who like to cook but here you can’t seen any view because this homestay is behind the pharmacy. Overall, I give 5 stars to the hse owner.Thank you so much for such a great homestay!.
